ART WORKSHOP FOR YOUR KIDS THIS SUMMER

Kids 5 to 12 years old are invited to join our workshop and learn lessons on basic drawing, painting and sculpture and crafts. The workshop will feature arts and crafts projects that will stir the imagination of boys and girls. These activities will encourage their creativity and self-expression as they work with varied and unique art projects such as the following: Watercolor & Glitter Painting with Gold Leaf, Acrylic Painting, Ballpoint Pen & Ink Drawing, Oil Pastel on Felt Paper Drawing, Crayon Rubbing & Resist Drawing, Oil Pastel Drawing on Coffee-Stained Paper, Mixed Media Collage Painting, Junk Art, Paper Mache Figure Sculpture and Shirt Painting.








CERAMIC WORKSHOP FOR KIDS

UP College of Fine Arts (UPCFA) now offers CERAMIC WORKSHOP FOR KIDS at the UPCFA Ceramic Studio. The program was developed and is managed by Prof. Rita Badilla-Gudiño, founder of KIDS AT ART and the initiator and faculty coordinator of the UPCFA Ceramic Studio. The workshop will be facilitated by Mia Casal, Continuing Education Program Instructor of the UPCFA Ceramic Studio. The same program will also be conducted this summer at Clay Ave, Mia Casal's studio.

Kids 7 to 12 years old will learn the joys of working with clay and of having their works fired to permanence. The workshop offers an introduction to the ceramic forming processes such as hand-building techniques and the use of the potter?s wheel to make sculptural and functional art forms.
